Whenever the Kidney’s Yin is exhausted and its reflective quality destabilized, its Yang decisive quality can become uncontrolled, producing self-consuming inwardness, self-deprecation, fault-finding, frequent emotional changes, rapid intellectual changes, erratic behavior and an unsettled sense of self.
